Captain Crime! The Deadly Grease Monkey! The Alibi! The Slaughter Syndicate! These are just some of the short stories collected in these EC Comics classics from the pre-Comics Code days of the 1940s. And according to the covers, these are REAL stories from police records—but after reading some of them, you be the judge. In one, a dashing hero known as “Captain Crime” infiltrates and smashes the criminal organization of a former Nazi known as “The Field Marshal of Murder.” In another, a killer is trapped by a clever plastic surgeon, while in several others, some rather buxom young women use their wits and wiles to defeat ruthless crooks. Not, however, before being tied up at least once.

All these thrilling yarns have been collected and reprinted, in full color, by Gemstone Publishing.
