Grendel Tales: Devil’s Choices

For years, the Grendel clans—Agram, Savan, Karantani, Vina, and Balaton—have been engaged in internecine war, with ever-shifting alliances and rivalries between them. In this conflict, the Agram warrior Goran struggles to honor the memory of his dead brother Drago. After dispatching a group of Savan soldiers, he learns of the newly formed truce between their two clans. As Igor, his general, says, the Savan are “a bit rough, but it’s still better to have them with us than against us!” Now Goran must learn to trust his former enemies as they fight together against the Karantani.

Meanwhile, Boran, another Grendel warrior, must lead his wife and newborn son away from the bloodshed, hoping to reach the sea and safety. But once there, his hard choices have just begun.
