This one shot by the creator of Ringu (in the US known as The Ring) is more non-stop thrills and chills. The premise here is man’s ever–growing incursion on the waters that surround him. With the Earth’s surface 70% covered by water, there are more than a few things there that we can’t possibly understand. In these four tales of waterlogged horror, author Koji Suzuki explores the depths of those fears.

Personal favorite: “Adrift” in which the classic ghost ship story is put on its ear in a concise and eerie vignette.
