In the first Shanghai series, rich-girl Corinne Jade gained possession of a magical amulet, one which holds the soul of an ancient red dragon. On the up side, she’s gained wondrous powers, including great strength and the ability to fly. But the drawback is that she now shares her mind with that of the dragon, a creature that can be very difficult to control. Now, with the help of her friend Cygnet, a humanoid biological computer she appropriated from her father’s company, Shanghai hopes to rid herself of the amulet and the dragon.

In this 5-issue follow-up series, a powerful metallic woman from space comes to earth, and after tricking Corinne into playing her mysterious game, sends both women on a dangerous quest through Time and Space.
