Dinky Duck

Paul Terry’s Terry-Toons created its share of memorable characters including Mighty Mouse and Heckle and Jeckle. Dinky Duck was an “also ran” that appeared in only 15 films. The Terry-Toons as a whole weren’t very remarkable and Dinky’s only claim to fame was that he was sort of a Tweety Bird rip-off that looked like a smaller version of Daffy Duck. Dinky made his debut in “The Orphan Duck” from 1939, and appeared in cartoons off and on until 1957. He was marginally more successful in comic books, but is largely forgotten today.
