Valiant Efforts (Vol. 2)

Valiant Efforts is an anthology of Christian super-hero tales. None of the characters are well known, but one of them—the Golden Protector—has roots in underground comics fanzines of the mid-60s. Known as simply the Protector back then, the Golden Protector has Iron Man’s armor but swings from buildings like Batman. The other stories in Valiant Efforts involve Dragonstrike, a super-hero team attacked by an alien warrior named the Huntmaster, and Street Fury, a couple of African-American crime fighters. Art and story are below professional standards, definitely showing the creators’ fanzine origins.
