It’s supercop versus superevil in this six-issue series by Jim Starlin. Starlin seems to specialize in tales of cosmic mythology. Here, he imagines a world wherein the cosmic force of evil has recruited a champion, Synner, to act as part of its new unholy trinity. This dark creation would one day meet with his destiny at the spacebound Hardcore Station, a former asteroid mining operation which has since become a major trading hub for the galaxy.

This space-age port of call is watched over by Chief Justice Maximillion Deville, Hardcore’s head of security. While normally it’s enough to just keep the peace in this hectic galactic crossroads, he now must face down a being of cosmic evil.
