All New Underground Comix

This black-and-white underground goes by a number of titles—those of its various features. One such feature is “High School Funnies,” a strip that stars a teacher in a fox costume who goes by the name “Little Ned.” His students have absolutely no interest in education and only seem to come to life when they escape the confines of the classroom. Another feature, “The Mountain,” is a rant against everything perceived as being “establishment”—the police, television, politicians, etc., etc. This is fairly typical stuff for the early 1970s.
