On a far-off planet, Nemesis was once part of the Coda sisterhood, a band of skilled warriors. Sent to Earth in ancient times, she put her own interests first and left the sisterhood a traitor. The animosity between Nemesis and the Coda has only grown through the centuries, hitting the streets of New York City in modern times. While trying to save a young girl from kidnappers, Nemesis is instead forced to take her hostage to escape from a showdown with the Coda. But now what is she going to do with her?
