Solar, Man of the Atom

Doctor Solar is Dr. Phil Saleski, an atomic scientist chosen by fate to receive the awesome power to control matter on the atomic level. The same accident that gave him his powers also gave Erica Pierce her powers—which she would later use to destroy Solar in Unity. His strange story is complicated by the fact that Phil Saleski first appeared from the future in a black hole of his own creation, later merging into the Phil Saleski from the current day. The future Saleski had inadvertently brought about terrible tragedy in his day and can only hope that he can avoid making the same mistakes in this, his second chance.

Saleski now lives in Cupertino, California with his girlfriend, Gayle. He has had to leave those quiet surroundings frequently, however, to do battle with everyone from the Harbinger corporation to a race of spider-aliens, determined to feed on all of mankind.
