Danse
(Blackthorne, 1987)
™ and ©1987 Mark Wayne Harris & Darrell Goza
The “judge not lest you be judged” moral applies to this tale of love and hate—a black-and-white one-shot written by Mark Wayne Harris.
Danse St. Clair was a young cop of the NYPD with a promising future until a scandal involving her adulterous homosexual relationship surfaced. Losing both job and husband, Danse began working independently as a private investigator. Press relating to the scandal afforded her a high profile status and after solving a big case for a wealthy client, Danse soon knew success. Her ex-lover’s life was another story.
Sarah Gintley was a practicing nurse…until the scandal. She, however, did not find other work as easily as Danse did. In time, Sarah developed a cocaine addiction. Next came the threatening phone calls. Sarah was convinced someone was out to kill her and called the only person she felt in the whole world who would—who could—do something to help her.
