Black and white series.

Brian Pulido’s tale of two sisters from a gypsy community living in an English village ca. 1879 deals with being an outsider in changing times. What place in the world can two young happy go lucky gypsy sisters find when that world barely tolerates their existence? Liza and Antoinette get by on their beauty and gypsy ways but England is rushing headlong into the Industrial Revolution that threatens to leave the girls behind. Raising the stakes and dramatizing the outsider theme, Antoinette gets bitten by a lycanthrope and becomes one herself. The two girls make their way in the world while contending with mysterious and mundane forces.
