Sof’ Boy and Friends

The appropriately–named Sof' Boy is a pliable, naive, innocent creature composed of some kind of gelatinous white substance that can reform after major trauma. It’s a good thing that he has this ability because his child–like attitude serves to involve him in situations that would be deadly for a normal person. The how and why of his origin is better left unexamined since the point of his existence is apparently to illustrate his absurdly mellow and easy–going demeanor in the face of society’s mistrust and hatred. He interacts with stray dogs, menacing drug dealers, and even houseflies with the same irrational overly friendly approach. When he comes upon cache of hidden money he gleefully distributes it to anyone he encounters. Reactions to his generosity vary from giddy disbelief to murderous greed. Only Sof’ Boy is blissfully unruffled.

Archer Prewitt, the creator of Sof’ Boy, is also a musician who plays guitar in band called “The Sea and the Cake.”
