Marvel Must Haves: Sentinel #1 & #2 and Runaways #1 & #2

™ and © 2003 Marvel Characters, Inc.

Reprinting the first two sold–out issues of Sentinel and Runaways, this is basically a bargain pack for those who missed their initial releases and also as an introduction to each series. Sentinel, written by indie favorite Sean McKeever, is part of Marvel’s Tsunami line of manga-influenced books. The anime inspiration in Sentinel is limited to the artwork as the story itself has little to do with Japanese comics. Sentinel is about an alienated teenager, Justin Seyfert, who becomes friends with a Sentinel, one of the 30–foot robots that have been hunting and trying to kill the X-Men for decades. Flip the book over and there are two issues of Runaways to read. The Runaways are a group of kids who discover that their parents are actually super-villains who form an evil organization called The Pride.
