Beauty and the Beast

After years of substandard Disney animated product such as The Fox and the Hound and The Black Cauldron, Disney finally bounced back in the late 80s with The Little Mermaid. Though few thought that that achievement could be topped, Disney did with Beauty and the Beast, the only animated feature film ever nominated for Best Picture. This movie adaptation details what was charming about that well-written and well-designed feature. The only thing that’s missing is the music, so pop on the CD soundtrack while reading and enjoy one of Disney’s best.
