On the planet M’Haeli, a member of the precognitive native race adopts a human infant, orphaned by the war between the rebellion and the Empire. Seventeen years later, child has grown into a young woman, Mora, and become a rebel sympathizer in a society that strives to remain neutral. Into this setting comes Lieutenant Ranulf Trommer, a skilled pilot and hero of the Empire. Trommer was assigned to M’Haeli because of rumors of a surviving heir of the ruling house but more importantly, to spy on the Imperial governor who has aroused the suspicion of the Empire. But the governor is aware of Trommer’s covert mission and has taken measures to eliminate him.

These intriguing plots are deftly woven into the fabric of the Star Wars universe by the veteran team of Louise Simonson and June Brigman, (Power Pack).
