Often called the worst movie ever made, “Plan 9 from Outer Space” is probably cult-favorite producer/director Ed Wood’s best-known film. Its plot concerns a group of aliens whose eight previous attempts to conquer Earth have failed; now, they are launching their ninth plan, which involves creating an army of reanimated corpses to march on the world’s capitals and bring its leaders to their knees. Writer John Wooley’s script and artist Stan Timmons’ pictures make this adaptation of “Plan 9” seem almost serious, but the goofiness is still there. After all, the alien would-be world conquerors have only managed to reanimate three corpses, and Jeff Trent, a stalwart airline pilot, manages to foil their plan and rescue his lovely wife Paula. This one-shot is made for bad movie buffs!
