The goal of AC Comics is to keep the memory of certain fondly remembered comics alive. Jungle girls of the past took a terrible blow with the 1984 camp version of Sheena, Queen of the Jungle with Tanya Roberts in the starring role. Examining the original comic book artwork and stories shows a style and drama that the movie heroines just could not maintain and embellish properly. Heroines such as Camilla, Wild Girl of the Congo; Ann and her Mate; and the ever-popular Sheena, Jungle Girls takes readers to African and South American jungles of adventure.
