Kurt Gerhardt’s life was falling apart. His father had just been murdered by a gang of muggers who decided to kill him when they found he had only six dollars to steal. Still reeling from that loss, Kurt lost his job when his bank was declared insolvent. Then his wife left him. Kurt was forced to take a job at a fast-food restaurant, only to have the place robbed. And he got a crack on the head when he tried to stop the robbers.

Kurt was “born again” when he happened to see Greg Salinger, the FoolKiller, on a TV broadcast. Salinger inspired Kurt to stop the criminals, the thugs, the junkies—the “fools” of the world. Kurt soon took on the costume, weapons, and mission of the FoolKiller. That mission was to eradicate fools…permanently.

FoolKiller is a haunting story of flawed justice and the penalties it exacts.
