Funny 3-D

When Alfred Harvey was shown the 3-D process for comic books in 1953 and St. John’s recent Mighty Mouse issue in 3-D, he was so taken by the new technology that he quickly purchased a huge amount of 3-D glasses and made plans to convert all of his comic book titles into 3-D. Soon, titles such as 3-D Dolly, Captain 3-D, and Adventures in 3-D littered the marketplace as did a number of others by other publishers. Unfortunately, it was just a fad and titles such as this, which introduced many new funny animal characters, died a quick death.
