Miyu, Vampire Princess and Watcher of the Dark, spends her life hunting wandering Shinma, evil gods who take human form in order to wreak havoc on mortals. Aided in her quest only by her mysterious companion, a young man known as Larva, she journeys from town to town pretending to be an ordinary young schoolgirl. In her latest guise, Miyu becomes suspicious of her new substitute teacher; a feeling confirmed when he boldly reveals himself as a Shinma. Surprised by his actions and seemingly innocent nature, Miyu decides to simply wait and see what his true motives are. But can any Shinma ever really be trusted?

This English translation is taken from the original Japanese edition by artist Narumi Kakinouchi, published in 1992 by Akita Publishing. Ironcat Studios specializes in bringing Japanese manga titles to American readers.
