This limited series from Dark Horse focuses on everyone’s favorite dull-witted barbarian’s relationship with his pet pooch Rufferto. A wanderer by nature, Groo wanders-with Rufferto, of course-into the greedy King Ravenous’ realm and discovers that the king’s taxation practices aren’t fair to his people. Ah, but that’s not the whole story; while Groo is distracted by the plight of Ravenous’ minions, his beloved Rufferto is kidnapped by the king’s wizard and transported to another era-the twentieth century! Will Groo find his canine companion? Will he destroy the modern world doing just that?
