Marvel Must Haves: Incredible Hulk #34–36

™ and © Marvel Entertainment Group

With the December 2002 issue, horror writer Bruce Jones (Ka-Zar the Savage) took over the writing chores on The Incredible Hulk (Vol. 2), launching the series in an all–new, all–different direction—one that put the spotlight squarely on Bruce Banner, the Hulk's meeker alter ego, and made the Hulk something of a guest–star in his own series. Jones’ stint begins with Banner on the run from pretty much everyone from the federal government to hired assassins, and his focus on Banner really gives the book an emotional center. This “bumper edition” collects the first three issues of “The Return of the Monster” for would–be readers who may have missed the originals.
