This sourcebook fulfills much of the same function of the other assorted sourcebooks (Wildstorm Universe Sourcebook, WildC.A.T.s Sourcebook, etc. ) put out by Image over the years. The basic format of mixing pinup pages with lists of statistics on each character is the same, but writer Francis Takenaga mixes things up a bit by portraying the entire sourcebook as the result of a computer break-in. As such, it reads more like case files of the various Wetworks members than a simple encyclopedia. Each member is profiled, along with detailed ratings of their skill levels in various disciplines. Unfortunately, the format doesn’t allow for references to the comic series itself, such as noting the first appearances of characters.
