In a utopian world of the future, psychic parasites called Pulses aimed at possessing man and forcing them to commit atrocious acts of violence have descended on the population out of nowhere. No one knows what these Pulses are or where they came from, they only know that they must be stopped in order for life to continue. Enter Phobia, a military unit whose members are ruthless hunters with the sole purpose of tracking down and killing these parasites.

When a strange explosion rocks a research facility, Phobia is called in to eliminate the threat. But the team is unsure if they’ve been called in to fight the Pulses or something completely different. What they do know is that the entire team surviving the encounter is unlikely.

The art has a very computer–generated feel to it and will remind readers more of a videogame than a comic book. In some spots it is very compelling, in others it is lacking. And there’s no credit given to a letterer, but the lettering could use some help.
