This sketchbook from Greg Williams, a.k.a. Dark One, illustrator of Brutal Planet and Animal Mystic features forty-six pages of black and white illustration. About half the pages are inked and many of the rest are plain pencils. Subjects include dragons, demons, voluptuous females, cyborg-type creatures and anthropomorphized animals.

As instructive as the sketch work inside might be, the arresting cover portrait of the female mummy coyly posed in frayed bandages suggests Williams work is best appreciated as the finished product.
