The first of three crossovers between the super-hero teams, this title time travels back to WWII in an unusual story involving X-Men’s Logan (later to become Wolverine), and the assassin Zealot from WildC.A.T.S. Not yet equipped with his adamantium claws, Logan uses guns to blow away Nazis as he tries to steal a scroll. He meets Zealot inside of a French castle occupied by Nazis and discovers she is on the same mission as well. Through Zealot, Logan also learns that evil creatures, the Daemonites, have joined the Nazis, and the scroll actually has a spell that can revive a powerful dead Daemonite. Together Logan and Zealot fight the Daemonites; Zealot even gives Logan claws as a weapon. French artist Travis Charest provides the book with a moody European look that is neither characteristic of X-Men nor WildC.A.T.S.
