Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer known as Daredevil, has not slept well in years. How, then, was a ninja able to steal a treasured object from beneath his nose one night?

Murdock’s martial arts Sensei was a man named Stick. Stick trained Murdock to live with his blindness and to control his senses. Ultimately, Stick sacrificed himself to save Murdock from the deadly ninja clan known as the Hand.

Now a ninja has managed to steal the only momento Murdock had from his Sensei—the old man’s staff. Murdock is determined to retrieve the staff, and to find out what mystery lies behind its theft.
