Mechanoids

™ and ©1981, 1982, 1983, 196 by Keven Siembieda

The Mechanoids were a savage race of “bio-morphs” who had but one thing on their warped synthetic minds: the destruction of the entire human race. Two hundred years earlier, the Mechanoids were on the verge of attaining their goal but then, suddenly, they were gone. There was no apparent reason for it—they just disappeared.

Today the world is at peace. However, a brilliant young scientist discovers that the bio-morphs are set to return to finish the job. Will the humans be able to defend themselves?

Actually, the answer was entirely up to the reader. The Mechanoids was a role-playing game that was designed to get non-role-players interested in the fun of gaming. Each issue contained a comic story and twenty pages of gaming rules. The series was published in conjunction with Palladium Books, which created the game.
