Superman was away for a while, but the residents of Metropolis need not have worried because Majestic came over from the Wildstorm Universe to fill the Man of Steel’s big red boots. This four-issue limited series finds the Kheran warlord learning a few lessons about how things work in the DC Universe from Superman, who has resumed his duties and taken Majestic under his wing at the request of the Justice League of America and most of the governments of the free world. You see, Majestic may be stuck in the DCU for good, and if he’s going to stay, he needs to learn that his super–powers make him responsible for the safety and security of his fellow man.

But will the Eradicator take Majestic out before he establishes a secret identity and becomes more human? Find out in this excellent four–parter from writers Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning (The Legion) and artist Karl Kerschl (Daily Bugle) that features gorgeous Ed McGuiness (JLA: Classified) covers that homage some classic Superman covers.
