Without a doubt, the Uncanny X-Men have become a phenomenon. Wishing to bring their exploits to a new generation of readers, Marvel brought us X-Men Classics, reprinting some of the earliest adventures of the world’s most famous mutants.

Later, X-Men Classic changed names to become Classic X-Men. The premiere issue under that new name reprised the legendary first appearance of the new X-Men from Giant Size X-Men #1.
