A different take on the old EC format as used in Tales From the Crypt, in which a creepy character hosts a series of horror stories. This time the stories are more in the sword and sorcery realm, with twists of the supernatural, instead of just straight horror. Of course, the classic elements are present as well, but the way it is executed here (no pun intended!) is refreshing. Also, the host participates in the story instead of just narrating the proceedings. Intruiging enough to be worth a look.
