When Archie’s Weird Mysteries was canceled off the TV airwaves, the good people at Archie felt it would be wise to shorten the title of its comic book tie-in after 24 issues to be just Archie’s Mysteries. They probably shouldn’t have bothered, as the shortened title only lasted another nine issues. Basically, this was Archie’s belated attempt to do their version of Scooby-Doo, with a more mystery-adventure slant than the traditional humor stories expected from most Archie books.
