Jackie Estacado was dead, but then he got over it. Picking up after events in the original Darkness comic, Jackie has returned home in search of answers to the unusual holes in his memory and his mysterious return from the grave. Inevitably, Jackie’s past catches up with him as he finds himself hunted by the mob he once worked for. Unaware of the power he once possessed, Jackie soon discovers the reason he has feared the dark since his return. When the lights go out, the Darkness returns. It also appears that Jackie is not the only thing changed by his death. It seems that the power of the Darkness has made a few frightening changes of its own.
