The Outlaw Kid (1st Series)

To most people, Lance Temple appears to be just a mild-mannered rancher in the Old West. Bound by an oath he made to his father, who was blinded in a gunfight, Lance is sworn to shun all violence, no matter the circumstances.

But Lance is not the type of man to easily look the other way when he sees an injustice. Not wanting to break his oath, he finds a less apparent way to defend his family and friends. As the Outlaw Kid, a mysterious masked vigilante, he protects the Wild West from rustlers, bank robbers, and other outlaws.

Other Western heroes had appearances in this title, including the Black Rider. Like Lance, Doc Masters has sworn an oath of nonviolence, but he also often finds it necessary to trade his medical kit for a mask and a set of six-guns.
