The Official Prince Valiant is Pioneer's first series reprinting Hal Foster's Prince Valiant comic strip, published in 1988 and 1989. The title also includes associated Annual, Giant Size, and King Size issues, as well as a book collection. In 1989, the series was replaced with Prince Valiant Monthly. Confusingly, Pioneer later published another series with the cover title The Official Prince Valiant but different indicia; see All Prince Valiant for that series.
