The Spider: Reign of the Vampire King

    (Eclipse, 1992)
™ and ©1992 Argosy Communications, Inc.

Based on the 1930’s pulp-magazine hero who inspired many later vigilante superheroes, the Spider hunts down wrongdoers in the dead of night, and sees to it that they die for their crimes.

Richard Wentworth is a wealthy businessman by day, but at night he roams the dirty streets of the city as the Avenger of Krishna and Master of Men. Feared by criminals, wrongly hounded by the police, with fanged teeth and flowing hair, is he brave or simply mad?

In Reign of the Vampire King, someone is killing people using flocks of poisonous vampire bats. The Spider is joined by the beautiful and adventurous June Latham, the sister of a man who died as he was being questioned. Now the Spider’s hunt for the culprits will bring him face-to-face with the Vampire King, a creature even less human than the Spider himself.
