Journey into Mystery (2nd Series)

In this second incarnation of the title, Marvel returned to the monster/science-fiction stories that began the first series of Journey into Mystery.

The second series’ high points came in its first few issues, when it featured new stories and adaptations by Robert E. Howard and an H.P. Lovecraft, illustrated by artists including Jim Starlin and Ernie Ploog. Beginning with issue #6, however, it was decided to rely entirely on reprinted material. Not long after, at issue #19, this series was discontinued.
