Fuzzy Buzzard and Friends

This black-and-white funny animal comic from writer Mister Tom and artist Ethan Van Sciver (Impulse) packs some old-fashioned punch, echoing such luminaries as Fox and Crow and Wacky Squirrel. Aimed at kids under twelve years of age, the stories focus on Fuzzy Buzzard, Queen Fussy, Gilly Goose, Messycat, and the super-heroic Froggy Wonder as they get into one mess after another. Who says there aren’t good comics for kids out there?!?
