The Spackle King

™ and ©2003 Summertime Comic Books

For little Thomas Weatherby, the day started like any other. The dim cries of his mother yelling for him to wake up, the alarm clock screaming in his ear, and sleep crusting his eyes closed. A rude awakening by any stretch, enough to start the day off on the wrong foot. The one thing different? Oh, the ceiling came to life and transformed into a giant magical gateway. Then a drooling creature popped out and scooped up Thomas to a world of adventure, danger, and the Spackle King.

The Spackle King is reminiscent of otherworldly children’s adventures such as the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Creator Mike Garcia’s amazing art and design take readers from Thomas’s warm, safe bed into an unknown and scary new place.
