Jack Brodie’s not a man you want to mess with. He’s a faceless force of vengeance and fury and in this series from writer Alan Grant (Detective Comics, Judge Dredd), Brodie’s out for more than just blood. Hard–nosed crime fiction with dark and mostly black and white art (color is used to highlight some of the more violent panels.) With a crackhead ex–wife, a son to look after and half the London mob on his tail, Jack’s in for a world of trouble and a fistful of pain. Gritty and unremorseful, this series is recommended to anyone who like classic pulp fiction.
