The title of this Psycho Killers special is a bit of misnomer, since none of the murderers seem to have been set off by Pre-Menstrual Syndrome (PMS). Rather, these were women who were either obsessed, mentally deranged, or just plain twisted. And all of them committed terrible murders.

The first of three whose story is featured here is Mary Beth Tinning, a woman whose first child died of severe birth defects, but in the following years bore or adopted child after child—and quietly murdered each one.

Next up is Diane Frederickson, an obsessed woman who sought the love of a married man—and gunned down her own children when she saw them as standing in her way.

Last comes Laurie Wasserman, a rich, but disturbed young woman who shot several children in an elementary school before turning the gun on herself.
