Arus is a border planet held by neither the Drule Supremacy or the Galactic Union. Legends tell of a mechanical warrior dwelling there that could stop the Drules in their bid for galactic conquest. Five pilots were sent to Arus, where among the remains of the population devastated by King Zarkon, ruler of the Drule Supremacy’s Ninth Kingdom, they meet the leader of Arus, Princess Allura. Together, the pilots and the Princess discover five powerful fighter crafts in the shape of lions which they used to defend the planet and learn to combine to form the super robot warrior, Voltron.

Devil’s Due Publishing has at last gained the rights to the old animated favorite, Voltron, and is stopping at nothing to do the stories right. Slick graphics and vibrant coloring make this incarnation of the Voltron series a delightful, animated read.
