Like it is for most kids, moving to a new home is pretty scary for little Joey—he’s leaving behind his friends, his tree house, his familiar room, even his grandmother. And he’s pretty sure that the new house, or at least his new room, is haunted, too. So when Grandma gives him a set of stuffed animals to guard his bedside at night, he’s grateful that at least he won’t have to worry about the beasties in the closet or monsters under the bed.

But when the stuffed toys—not to mention the beasties—turn out to be real, he’s not sure whether to be grateful for the protection or just plain terrified! But, when their tussle ends all of them, Joey included, in another dimension, he decides to stick with terrified.
