There’s a whole lot going on here, so let’s get started. The story begins in 1600 A.D., where an evil shadow looms over a fearful land. It zips back to 1580 A.D., Poland, where a pair of religious scholars contemplate nothing less than the creation of the universe. Then it’s back to 1100 A.D., the Holy Land, where two men are educated – by a dancing girl, no less – on the secrets of what lies beyond the veil. And then just when you’ve gotten a handle on the location, you’re off again to 1776, followed by a scene shift to the late 20th century.

In short, this title covers no less than religion, the history of the world, and the mysteries of life, death, and existence itself.
