Just in case a regular JLA series, an annual, and numerous limited series and one-shots aren’t enough to satisfy your appetite for “the World’s Greatest Super-Heroes,“ DC Comics offers up this eighty-page giant to fend off your hunger. As you might expect, the entire team takes on threats the likes of which the world has never seen, but there are also several short stories that feature interesting team-ups (Steel/Aquaman) and tales from earlier eras in JLA history (Remember Justice League Europe?). The highlight, however, is easily the Plastic Man adventure that finds him facing alien invaders all by his lonesome and impersonating the entire JLA! While much of this stuff fairly screams “Inventory material!“, this tale of the Pliable Policeman is a keeper!
