Dicks is strongly reminiscent of the infrequently published LCD or Lowest Common Denominator comic book anthology, with the same doses of crude humor and coarse drawing style. A murder spree is underway in Ireland and where the victims are attacked while sitting on the toilet. Now it’s up to Dougie and Ivor to save the day in time for Christmas. It’s a scatologically amusing Christmas tale replete with defecation, Satanic worship, suicide and other harsh themes.
