Escape to the Stars

    (Solson, 1987)
™ and ©1987 Phillip Hwang and James Lyle

In the distant future, man has reached the stars and discovered that he shares the universe with many fantastic and unusual creatures. Some have become allies as he continues to explore the heavens. Others like the peaceful bear-like matter manipulators, the Enithrins, are seen as threats. When the Enithrins are targeted for extinction, a small group of scientists and Enithrin sympathizers rescue a few remaining Enithrins and Escape the Stars. Now marked as criminals, anthropologist Victor McCalle and his ragtag crew fight for their own lives, as well as the future of an entire species.

In the same tradition as other ensemble science-fiction titles such as Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica, Escape to the Stars focuses as heavily on character interaction as it does spectacular spaceship battles. This black and white title is made available by Solson, publisher of other such titles as Ninjitsu Art of the Ninja and Thunder Agents.
