Super Duck was a long-running funny animal book published by Archie Publications from 1944-1960. This short-lived title was an attempt at spinning-off Supe’s chief antagonist, Fauntleroy. Unfortunately, Fauntleroy doesn’t have much to recommend as either a title or a character, and soon he returned to the pages of Super Duck after three issues. Fauntleroy is much better suited to be Super Duck’s foil in a similar vein as Huey, Dewey and Louie are to Donald Duck.
