Wallace & Gromit: The Whippet Vanishes

    (Titan, 2004)
™ and © 2004 Aardman/Wallace and Gromit Ltd.

Based on the wildly popular British stop–action animation, Wallace & Gromit are one of the funniest dog/master combinations ever produced. Wallace is an easy–going part–time inventor and detective who loves cheese. Gromit is his long–suffering mastiff, as well as the real brains of the outfit. Here, they make the leap from animation to comics as Wallace takes on the case of the missing pets. When prize Whippet (a breed of dog, for non–pet owners) Flo–Jo disappears days before the big dog show, a desperate Miss Dingle hires Wallace & Gromit to find her. What follows is not pretty, for it involves lots of snow, an angry (but not mad) scientist, evil twins, garden Gnomes, and a snow plow invented by Wallace. Will Wallace solve the dastardly mystery? Only if he is dragged kicking and screaming to the answer by Gromit!
